Hellenic Alliance for Stroke (HAS-SSO) is a non-profit organization set up under the auspices of individuals and organizations to create the framework for better prevention and treatment of stroke. In Greece, the social, economic and emotional cost of caring for people suffering from cerebrovascular diseases are high and there is no adequate rehabilitation care provided by the health system.
